Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Author Guidelines for the International Journal of Medical Science and Public Health Research

1. Submission Process:

  • Manuscripts should be submitted electronically via the journal's online submission system.
  • Authors are required to register on the submission platform before making a submission.
  • Ensure that the manuscript adheres to the journal's formatting guidelines and requirements.

2. Manuscript Preparation:

  • Manuscripts should be written in English and prepared according to the journal's template.
  • Include a title page with the title of the manuscript, author(s) names and affiliations, corresponding author's contact information, and any acknowledgments.
  • Abstract should be concise and informative, providing a summary of the study's objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.
  • Keywords: Provide 3 to 6 keywords that accurately represent the content of the manuscript.
  • Follow a structured format for the main body of the manuscript, including Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion sections.
  • Tables and figures should be numbered and cited in the text, with descriptive titles and legends. Ensure that they are clear and easy to understand.
  • References should be cited using a consistent citation style (e.g., APA, MLA) and listed at the end of the manuscript in alphabetical order.

3. Ethical Considerations:

  • Authors must adhere to ethical standards in research and publication.
  • Any potential conflicts of interest should be disclosed.
  • Research involving human subjects or animals must have been conducted in accordance with relevant ethical guidelines, and approval from the appropriate institutional review board should be obtained.

4. Plagiarism and Originality:

  • Manuscripts should be original works that have not been published previously and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
  • Authors should ensure that their work does not contain any form of plagiarism. Proper citations and references should be provided for all sources used.

5. Authorship and Contributions:

  • Authorship should be based on substantial contributions to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the study.
  • All authors should have participated sufficiently in the work to take public responsibility for the content.
  • Acknowledge individuals or organizations that provided assistance or support but do not meet the criteria for authorship.

6. Peer Review Process:

  • All manuscripts will undergo a rigorous peer review process to ensure scientific rigor and quality.
  • Reviewers will evaluate the manuscript's significance, originality, methodology, results, and conclusions.
  • Authors may be required to revise their manuscripts based on feedback from reviewers before acceptance for publication.

7. Manuscript Revisions:

  • Authors should address all comments and suggestions provided by reviewers in a thorough and timely manner.
  • Revised manuscripts should be submitted along with a detailed response to reviewers' comments explaining the changes made.

8. Publication Ethics:

  • Authors should adhere to publication ethics and standards of academic integrity.
  • Plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, and other forms of unethical behavior are unacceptable and may result in rejection or retraction of the manuscript.

9. Open Access Policy:

  • The International Journal of Medical Science and Public Health Research is committed to open access publishing, ensuring that research findings are freely accessible to the global community.
  • Authors may be required to pay article processing charges (APCs) to cover the costs of publication.

10. Copyright and Licensing:
